Plagiarism Screening Policy
Jurnal Multidisipliner (JMI) maintains zero tolerance for plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, and redundant or duplicate publication.
Screening Protocol
Every submitted manuscript is screened for similarity using Turnitin / iThenticate plagiarism detection software prior to undergoing the peer review process.
- Maximum Overall Similarity: Must not exceed 20% (excluding references, bibliography, and standard quotations).
- Single-Source Similarity: Must not exceed 3% from any single external published source.
Papers with similarity scores exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for comprehensive paraphrasing or summarily rejected if blatant plagiarism is detected.
